Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a public meeting in Mukundpur Chowk, Burari, North East, Delhi on Monday. Shri Nadda strongly condemned the scams that occurred in Delhi under the Aam Aadmi Party government. He stated that the party, which had claimed to fight against corruption a decade ago and portrayed itself as fiercely honest, has now proven to be deeply corrupt. During the program, JDU National President and MP Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Brajesh Pathak, BJP MP Shri Manoj Tiwari, and NDA candidate from Burari Shri Shailendra Kumar and other leaders were present on the stage.
Shri Nadda expressed confidence in the party's upcoming victory, noting the public's enthusiasm and energy. He remarked that on February 5, instead of a traffic jam, Arvind Kejriwal's journey will be halted. Shri Nadda emphasized that this election is not merely about selecting a legislator but about transforming Delhi's future and image. It presents an opportunity to free Delhi from the influence of the Aam Aadmi Party and work towards its development. He called on the public to support this change. In the last 10 years, AAP has only held press conferences, used inappropriate language against the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, and blamed the central government for covering up their own failures. Arvind Kejriwal, the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, is a machine of lies, a promoter of divisiveness, and an encyclopedia of falsehoods. Apart from spreading lies and misleading people, they have done nothing in the last 10 years and have set records of corruption.
BJP National President emphasized the significance of February 5th, highlighting that the party, which once claimed to fight corruption and portrayed itself as fiercely honest 10 years ago, has now been revealed to be deeply corrupt. Former Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Ministers of the Aam Aadmi Party are out on bail after spending two years in jail, still facing accusations with no acquittals. The Aam Aadmi Party misled the public about its education policies while being involved in a liquor scam disguised as an educational initiative. During the COVID pandemic, our brothers and sisters from Purvanchal were forcibly sent by Kejriwal, who enjoyed their regional meals. Under the pretense of education, they orchestrated a ₹2,800 crore liquor scam and a ₹1,300 crore scam within school classrooms. The party also obstructed an audit of the water board, leading to a ₹28,000 crore scam. Furthermore, they carried out a multi-crore scam involving 65,000 fake tests at Mohalla Clinics, using patients' names, and lined their pockets with the stolen money. There was also a ₹300 crore scam in medicines.
Shri Nadda stated that the Aam Aadmi Party claimed to install panic buttons in buses and committed a ₹500 crore scam, yet no bus actually has a panic button. In fact, the real need for panic buttons was in the 'Sheesh Mahal', where women are not safe. The AAP government carried out a ₹4,500 crore scam in the purchase of buses and issued maintenance tenders at even higher costs. Arvind Kejriwal used to say that CCTV cameras would be installed everywhere, but a ₹571 crore scam occurred with the CCTV cameras. The Aam Aadmi Party, which once claimed to be fiercely honest, turned out to be fiercely dishonest, as the Chief Minister, Ministers, and MLAs of the party, along with 12% of its members, have served time in jail. Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Amanatullah Khan, these fiercely dishonest party leaders, are either in jail or out on bail.
BJP National President stated that today Delhi has turned into a heap of garbage, with piles of waste in every street and every home. Five years ago, Kejriwal visited Gazipur to see the mountain of garbage and promised that he would clean it up. However, he did not clean the mountain of garbage; instead, he left a heap of garbage in front of your homes. In 2014, Kejriwal promised to clean the Yamuna and provide clean water to the people of Delhi. He made the same promise in 2019, and now, during the Assembly elections, he has reiterated the same, but until now, the Aam Aadmi Party government has failed to keep its promise. If the people of Delhi vote for the BJP by pressing the ‘Lotus’ button, the Purvanchali brothers will have the opportunity to offer Arghya in the clean Yamuna next Chhath. Arvind Kejriwal has committed an ₹8,000 crore scam in the name of cleaning the Yamuna and is blaming the Haryana government for polluting the Yamuna. Despite having held a constitutional position, the statements made by Kejriwal indicate that he does not deserve to remain in politics even for a single day. People in Delhi are receiving polluted water, with 200 liters wasted just to drain the dirty water. By the time clean water arrives, the supply has ended. The Supreme Court even stated that if the government is unable to tackle the tanker mafia, this responsibility should be given to the Delhi Police. The people of Delhi are currently facing difficulties under the AAP government. Arvind Kejriwal has not opened a single new college or school. While he talks about schools, an RTI inquiry has revealed that two-thirds of the schools in Delhi do not teach science in the 10th and 11th grades. If the condition of Delhi is to be improved, we must vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party and form a BJP government in Delhi.
Shri Nadda stated that the government has recently provided significant relief to the middle class of the country by presenting the budget. Income up to 12 lakhs per annum has been made tax-free. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has ensured the welfare of every class; on one hand, he has worked to lift the poor out of the poverty line, and on the other, he has also focused on advancing the middle class. When the people of Delhi elected BJP MPs, the Hon'ble Prime Minister provided 300 new electric buses to Delhi. Before December 2025, Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji will give 2026 new electric buses to Delhi. Over the last 10 years, the 190 km metro route has been expanded to 400 km, with 135 new metro stations constructed. An 82.5 km rapid rail line is being constructed at a cost of ₹30,000 crores, enabling people to travel directly from Delhi to Meerut in just 40 minutes. Today, an individual from Delhi can reach Meerut in 46 minutes via the expressway. ₹3600 crore has been spent on the Urban Extension Road from Alipur to Mahipalpur, and similarly, ₹7500 crore has been invested in the Dwarka Expressway. ₹11,000 crore have been spent on the Eastern and Western Peripheral roads. Today, any vehicle that does not need to enter Delhi can bypass it, but there was a time when the residents of Delhi had to face traffic jams and pollution caused by diesel fumes at the Kundli border. These works were all carried out by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji at a time when the Bharatiya Janata Party did not have a government in Delhi, but these actions were taken for the comfort of the people of Delhi.
BJP National President highlighted that after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government, just like the development of highways and metro, the roads of Burari will also be developed. Through the efforts of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line. Under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 80 crore people across the country are being provided 5 kilograms of wheat, rice, and 1 kilogram of lentils for free. In Delhi, 72 lakh families are also being provided with this facility to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry. Under the Housing Scheme, 4 crore pucca houses have been built across the country, of which 3,600 houses are in Delhi, and under the “Jaha Jhuggi-Waha Makaan” initiative, the construction of 6,500 flats has been undertaken. Arvind Kejriwal says that the slums will be demolished, but Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji has promised that pucca houses will be provided in place of the slums. The Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi has denied people the benefits of the housing scheme while building its own 'Sheesh Mahal.' This is the same Kejriwal who said that he would not take security, a house, or a car, but he built a ‘Sheesh Mahal’ and installed curtains worth ₹5 crore, marble worth ₹1.5 crore, bought a ₹9 lakh refrigerator, and decorated the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ with crores of rupees.
Shri Nadda stated that the Hon'ble Prime Minister has provided free health insurance of up to ₹5 lakh annually under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana to help 61 crore poor people fight serious diseases. However, Kejriwal has deprived 51 lakh people in Delhi of this scheme. Kejriwal deceived the people in the name of Mohalla Clinics and committed a ₹300 crore scam in the name of medicines. So far, 60,000 poor people have undergone bypass surgery under the Ayushman Yojana, 3 lakh people have received treatment for kidney stones, 2 lakh people have had knee surgeries, and 7 lakh people have received cancer-related treatment. These are people who would never have been able to afford private hospitals, yet they have received treatment in private hospitals.
BJP National President stated that on the 5th February, the public will press the ‘Arrow’ button, and by the 8th, the NDA government will be formed. With the Ayushman card of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, ₹5 lakh will be provided, and BJP Delhi will also offer ₹5 lakh, meaning a total of ₹10 lakh will be available for treatment. Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal had made false promises in Punjab, claiming that ₹1,000 per month would be given, but it was never provided. On the other hand, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji had announced in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Odisha that money would be provided under the Matra Vandana Yojana, and today, people in those states are receiving the benefit. “Modi Ki Guarantee means a guarantee of fulfilment.” On the 8th, when the BJP government is formed in Delhi, mothers and sisters in Delhi will start receiving ₹2,500 per month. The BJP will provide LPG cylinders to poor women in Delhi at ₹500, and one free cylinder will be given during Diwali and Holi. When the BJP government is formed in Delhi, Ayushman Bharat will be implemented, and elderly citizens up to 60 years will receive ₹2,500 instead of ₹2,000, while those over 70 years will receive ₹3,000 per month instead of ₹2,500. Nutritious meals will be provided at just ₹5 through Atal Canteens in every slum, and free education will be provided from KG to PG.
Shri Nadda mentioned that once the BJP government is formed in Delhi, free education will be provided from KG to PG, and under the B.R. Ambedkar Stipend Scheme, students pursuing polytechnic courses will receive ₹1,000 per month. A welfare board will be set up for auto-rickshaw drivers, gig workers, textile workers, and domestic helpers, offering ₹10 lakh life insurance and ₹5 lakh accident insurance. The BJP government will provide 50,000 government jobs within 5 years and create new employment opportunities. Shri Nadda urged the public to press the ‘Arrow’ symbol of JDU on the 5th, as it will make the lotus bloom and lead to the formation of a BJP-NDA government.
