Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia addressed a press conference at Delhi BJP State Office, on Sunday. During the conference, Shri Bhatia presented a sting operation that uncovered a scam in the name of selling a robotics course in government schools, involving an AAP MLA. The sting revealed the involvement of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and MLA Sahiram Pehelwan. Shri Bhatia strongly condemned the AAP government's corruption in Delhi's education system and announced the release of the second part of the sting operation tomorrow.
Shri Bhatia stated that the people of Delhi have decided that a BJP government will be formed here. One issue that has consistently come up during this election, raised strongly by the public, is corruption. The entire nation, including Delhi, now knows that ‘Paapi’ AAP’s ‘Kattar Imandaar’ convenor is actually ‘Kattar Beimaan.’ So far, the discussion has revolved around how Arvind Kejriwal moved from being a ‘jail-bound CM’ to a ‘bail-bound CM,’ facing serious corruption charges. AAP leaders, be it Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Vijay Nair or Satyender Jain are accused of corruption and are currently out on bail. Today, with solid evidence and videos, Arvind Kejriwal’s dark truth will be exposed to the people of Delhi. This will clearly show how AAP is involved in organized corruption, with every layer of the party steeped in dishonesty and malpractice.
BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that Kejriwal used to say, "Wherever you see corruption, conduct a sting operation." Today, it seems someone followed his advice and conducted a sting operation so impactful that it will shake Kejriwal to his core. Just as Kejriwal polluted the Yamuna, he has also corrupted the education system meant to shape Delhi's future generations. The bribery and commission culture in education has now been exposed with clear evidence. The sting operation visuals show cash packets being exchanged, with a sitting MLA and his secretary-cum-nephew openly accepting bribes. The MLA often instructs people to approach his secretary, who is ‘authorized’ to collect commissions. This sting operation will deeply distress every citizen, as it uncovers how blatant corruption is thriving under Kejriwal’s leadership—or possibly with his approval—laying bare the reality of the ‘Kejriwal Corrupt Education Model’.
Shri Bhatia highlighted that the sting operation reveals shocking facts about corruption within Delhi's education system. The discussion in the videos highlights plans to introduce a robotics curriculum for students, with charges of ₹2,200 per student in some cases and ₹1,500 in others. With nearly 20 lakh students enrolled in Delhi’s government schools, these figures point to a scam worth hundreds of crores, exposing the corrupt foundation of Kejriwal's so-called education model. The visuals show a sitting MLA, Sahiram Pehelwan, who is not only contesting elections again but also previously ran for the Lok Sabha. This reflects Kejriwal’s selection criteria—rewarding the biggest bribe-takers and corrupt individuals with party tickets. The MLA’s nephew and close aide, Gaurav Bhati, is shown playing a key role in this corruption.
BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia conveyed that a brave journalist, risking their life, conducted this sting operation over nine months, uncovering how AAP’s corruption extends far beyond one individual. It allegedly implicates key figures like Atishi Marlena. The MLA is shown visiting her office and demanding to speak with her, calling it an urgent matter. These visuals raise serious questions—does this corruption reach Atishi and Kejriwal directly? The name of Manish Sisodia, currently out on bail, also emerges in this scandal, further exposing the depth of AAP’s corrupt practices.
Shri Bhatia emphasized that three key names have surfaced in this corruption scandal. The first is Atishi Marlena, who acts entirely on Kejriwal's instructions. It seems evident that Kejriwal himself sanctioned this disgraceful corruption in children’s education. The second name is Delhi's former Deputy CM, currently out on bail, whom Kejriwal once called ‘Kattar Imaandar’. The third is sitting MLA Sahiram Pehelwan. A critical link in this case is Sahiram Pehelwan, who openly admits in the sting video to taking bribes and ensuring work gets done, with everything captured on tape. As more links in the chain are revealed, the trail of corruption points directly back to Arvind Kejriwal, bringing the possibility of handcuffs closer (Jaise jaise jud rahi hai kadi, Arvind Kejriwal ke paas phir se aarahi hai hathkadi). In the video, Sahiram Pehelwan is heard saying, “Gaurav Bhati se baat karlo.” Subsequently, Gaurav Bhati is seen accepting a packet.
BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that in Scene 2, Gaurav Bhati conducts another meeting where a discussion takes place about arranging a meeting with the Ministry of Education to extend the corruption further. During this meeting, Gaurav Bhati is also seen accepting cash. This sting exposes cash, packets, and deceit aimed at the public. The corruption of Arvind Kejriwal, who is the ‘kingpin’ behind this scam, along with Atishi, Manish Sisodia have been exposed. The extent of corruption of AAP’s sitting MP has also been revealed. In Scene 3, Gaurav Bhati advises an individual not to reveal anything about the ₹500 matter. He further tells the person offering the bribe, proceed with the work, engage in corruption, and then return, the recognition and benefits will continue every month.
Shri Bhatia, after presenting the sting operation video to the media, highlighted three major points. First, bribes were given to introduce a course in government schools. Second, Gaurav Bhati openly admits receiving ₹5 lakh and making arrangements of additional ₹10 lakh, acknowledging that this is all happening under the protection of Arvind Kejriwal. Third, MLA Sahiram Pehelwan is seen taking the corrupt agent in his car and making a call to Atishi Marlena. Whether it’s the CM residence or the secretariat, AAP initially made them centers of hooliganism and now, they have turned them into hubs of corruption. What was supposed to be a party formed to fight corruption, the Aam Aadmi Party has now become synonymous of corruption. Arvind Kejriwal must answer for this act involving Sahiram Pehelwan and the ongoing corruption under his education model.
BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that Atishi Marlena has taken an oath to the Constitution, not to Kejriwal’s corruption book. She must now step forward and answer the public, or her silence will reveal much about her involvement. If Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Atishi Marlena fail to address this issue within hours, it will be clear that this corruption operation was orchestrated by Arvind Kejriwal himself, and they all should resign from their posts. Arvind Kejriwal, once the so-called champion of anti-corruption, used to claim that any leader accused of corruption should resign. Today, Anna Hazare and the people of Delhi will also demand the same. These are just a glimpse of a picture, and the Bharatiya Janata Party will continue to expose Arvind Kejriwal’s corruption. Tomorrow, the second part of this sting will be released, and after that, Arvind Kejriwal will either run abroad or plead to be sent back to jail.
