On the historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah congratulated Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and expressed his gratitude to the people of Delhi. He also extended his congratulations to BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, and all the party karyakartas.
On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Union Home Minister wrote, “Dilli ke Dil mein Modi!” The people have demolished the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ of lies, corruption, and deception, making Delhi ‘AAP-da’ free. This defeat of promise-breakers sets a nationwide example. A new era of development and trust begins in Delhi.
Calling BJP's victory in Delhi a triumph of ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ and the trust of the people of Delhi in Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's vision, Shri Shah wrote, “The reign of lies has ended. This is a defeat of arrogance and anarchy. Heartfelt gratitude to Delhi for this massive mandate. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, BJP is committed to making Delhi the world's No. 1 capital by fulfilling all promises.”
Shri Shah stated that the people of Delhi have made it clear they cannot be misled repeatedly by false promises. Through their votes, they have given a fitting response to the issues of a polluted Yamuna, unclean drinking water, broken roads, overflowing sewers, and liquor shops in every neighbourhood. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all BJP (Delhi) karyakartas, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, and State President Shri Virendra Sachdeva Ji for their tireless efforts leading to this grand victory in Delhi.
