Many dignitaries including BJP National President reached Shri Anurag Thakur's residence to attend the program organized on the occasion of Himachal's full statehood day

January 25, 2025, New Delhi: On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Himachal Pradesh Full Statehood Day, the “Himachal Rajatva Diwas” program was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the residence of former Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur. The event was attended by over a thousand expatriate Himachalis.  The Chief Guest for the program was BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, while the Special Guests included Delhi BJP State President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, MPs Sushri Bansuri Swaraj, Shri Suresh Kashyap, Sushri Indu Goswami, Shri Rajeev Bhardwaj, Shri Yogendra Chandolia, Shri Mayank Bhai Nayak, former MP Shri Virendra Kashyap; MLAs Shri Hansraj, Shri Prakash Rana; former ministers Shri Govind Thakur, Shri Rakesh Pathania; Himachal Mahila Morcha State President Smt. Vandana Yogi Ji; and prominent Himachal BJP leaders Shri Ravi Mehta, Shri Chetan Brakta, along with other dignitaries. Together, they joyously celebrated Himachal's 55th Full Statehood Day.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda expressed, "I am grateful to MP Shri Anurag Singh Thakur for providing me the opportunity to celebrate Himachal’s Statehood Day with my Himachali brothers and sisters and for organizing this wonderful event in Delhi. The people of Himachal are known for their honesty, justice, and respect for the law, and the state has played a key role in India’s development journey. This is our pride and our strength. We are both social and political beings, and when we talk about Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal’s government have led the city into turmoil over the past 10 years. No one has caused as much suffering to Delhi as Kejriwal has. Most significantly, the man who won elections by promising to fight corruption has broken all records of it. It is shameful for Delhi that many AAP leaders are in jail due to corruption. Kejriwal himself is out on bail, pretending to be innocent while deceiving the people. The people of Delhi will teach such a liar a lesson. I urge everyone to vote in full support of the BJP on 5th February and contribute to forming a strong majority government."

Shri Anurag Singh Thakur said, "The people of Himachal have earned a strong reputation worldwide through their hard work. Himachal's Statehood Day is an occasion to strengthen our unity, reflect on our state’s culture, traditions, and proud history, and commit to taking it to new heights. BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, from the small state of Himachal, has brought great honor to the entire state by leading the world’s largest party. Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal will lose elections in Delhi, and Kejriwal’s frustration, helplessness, and confusion are evident. The BJP is poised to form a two-thirds majority in Delhi, as Kejriwal’s government has been completely exposed. A few years ago, Kejriwal promised to clean the Yamuna and take a dip in it. Now, the people of Delhi are ready to drown him instead. In Delhi, there is neither clean air, nor clean water, nor are the heaps of garbage cleaned. This time, the Aam Aadmi Party is going to be wiped out from Delhi."
