Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed the ‘Karyakarta Abhinandan Samorah’, at the party’s central office, celebrating the party's landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. In his address, Shri Nadda honored Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Delhi for their overwhelming support and appreciated the relentless efforts of the dedicated Delhi BJP karyakartas. During the event, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah were present on the stage.
Shri Nadda expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Delhi for giving their immense support and blessings to the BJP under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji. He also thanked the dedicated party karyakartas who worked tirelessly, went door-to-door, and turned the public's enthusiasm for BJP and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's policies into votes through their unwavering efforts.
BJP National President emphasized that both this election and the previous Lok Sabha election have delivered a clear message from the people of Delhi. In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured all 7 seats, and in the Delhi Assembly elections, the people ensured BJP's victory in 48 seats. Shri Nadda remarked that there was a time in politics when leaders relied on making alluring speeches and false promises to win over people, only to abandon them later. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji revolutionized Indian politics by introducing the concept of report card governance—delivering not only on promises made but also exceeding expectations with actions beyond those commitments. This is why the people today know that “Modi ki guarantee, guarantee poori hone ki guarantee hai.”
BJP National President conveyed that the outcome of this election sends a powerful message against the “Kattar Beimaan” leader and the party. They had turned Delhi into a massive dumping ground. Despite standing atop garbage heaps in the last election and promising to clean the city, they ended up creating piles of trash in front of every household. Those who claimed to provide clean water forced Delhi's people to drink filthy water. Those who boasted about improving world class education were the very ones who denied two-thirds of Delhi’s school children the chance to study science. Those who advocated for better roads were responsible for making people walk through potholes. This Delhi's election sends a clear message that Delhi does not need such a party, and the people of Delhi have made their decision by sending AAP-da home. AAP-da is a factory of lies. It’s an encyclopedia of falsehoods. “AAP-da Jhooth Ki Sampada Hai.” And it’s a factory of finding new, innovative ways to indulge in corruption. However, the people of Delhi have delivered a strong response to AAP-da, clearly demonstrating that this historic victory, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, will fulfill the pledge to take Delhi forward once again.
Shri Nadda pointed out that those who portrayed themselves as staunchly honest were actually the most corrupt, with the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, and MLAs all having experienced the inside of a jail. Their defeat clearly signifies that the people of Delhi have stamped their approval on their imprisonment. The Bharatiya Janata Party wholeheartedly appreciates and congratulates the overwhelming support received in this election from women, youth, senior citizens, and businessmen.
BJP National President pointed out that apart from the AAP-da party, there is another party that has been consistent in its score. Whenever elections are held, the result is always zero – whether it was the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, or the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections – Congress' result has consistently remained zero. It has been made clear that what the Hon'ble Prime Minister had said, “AAP-da Nahin Sahenge Aur Badal Ke Rahenge,” is absolutely true. The people of Delhi rejected AAP-da and brought about a change in Delhi. For this, the Bharatiya Janata Party extends its heartfelt gratitude to the people of Delhi.
Shri Nadda pointed out that the trust of the people have placed in the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, along with the promises made by the BJP, has been reflected in the commitments the party has fulfilled in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Odisha.
