Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP Leader and Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Mustafabad and and Karawal Nagar, Delhi on Saturday. Shri Shah sharply condemned the scams that occurred in Delhi under the Aam Aadmi Party's rule. He emphasized that it is time to free Delhi from this ‘AAP-da’, close the businesses of the scamsters, and remove the deeply corrupt individuals from power. During the event, Lok Sabha MP Shri Anurag Thakur, Lok Sabha MP Shri Manoj Tiwari, candidate from Mustafabad Shri Mohan Singh Bisht, Candidate from Karawal Nagar Shri Kapil Mishra along with other party leaders, were present.
Shri Shah commenced his address by seeking the blessings of Prachin Shiv Mandir and Hanuman Mandir. Shri Shah stated that after the BJP forms the government, it will work to remove open gutters and eliminate mosquitoes in areas like Karawal Nagar, Mustafabad, and all other lanes. If the people of Delhi show any negligence on February 5, those responsible for the riots will exploit the situation to come to power. These people need to decide whether they want those who push them into riots or those who protect them from riots. The AAP has been in power for ten years, and now it’s time to free Delhi from this ‘AAP-da’. It’s time to rid Delhi of liquor mafias, close down the scamsters' businesses, and root out the hardcore corrupt individuals.
Union Home Minister stated that the people of Delhi need to press the 'Lotus' button on February 5, so that the glass of the Sheesh Mahal breaks. On February 8, the people of Delhi will sweep away the Aam Aadmi Party. The Aam Aadmi Party knows it is losing the election, and Manish Sisodia, in fear, changed his seat. Out of 62, they did not give tickets to 26 of his own MLAs. AAP also knows that there is a 3-G government running in Delhi. The first G stands for ‘Ghotale Ki Sarkar,’ the second G means ‘Ghuspaithiyon Ko Panah Dene Wali Sarkar,’ and the third G refers to ‘Ghaple Krne Wali Sarkar.’ After the formation of the BJP government in Delhi on February 8, all the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis will be selectively expelled.
Mr Shah said that the respected Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji had said that he will end terrorism from this country. When Pakistan made the mistake of attacking Uri and Pulwama in 2015, within 10 days the Indian Army entered Pakistan and eliminated the terrorists by conducting surgical strikes and air strikes. By 31 March 2026, this country will be completely freed from Naxalism. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji does what he says. Rahul Gandhi used to say that if Article 370 is removed from Jammu and Kashmir, rivers of blood will flow there. Forget about rivers of blood, today no one has the courage to even throw a pebble. This change has been brought about by the respected Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi.
Union Home Minister stated that the Aam Aadmi Party government is one that goes against its promises. Kejriwal had claimed he would close liquor shops in residential areas, but instead of shutting them down, he got involved in a liquor scam. Not only did he fail to close the shops in residential areas, but he also opened liquor shops near temples, gurdwaras, and schools. Kejriwal has taken thousands of crores of rupees in the liquor scam. Across the country, no state's education minister has been jailed for a liquor scam, but in Delhi, both Manish Sisodia and Kejriwal have gone to jail. AAP had promised to clean and make the Yamuna River pollution-free and that Chhath Puja would be celebrated in a much better way. They also claimed they would take a dip in the Yamuna. Did Arvind Kejriwal take a dip in the Yamuna? Have the ghats for Chhath Puja improved?
Shri Shah, in a sarcastic remark, said that while Kejriwal may not have taken a dip in the Yamuna, BJP workers made his cut-out take a dip instead. After making the cut-out take a dip, they left it in the Yamuna, and the cut-out had to be admitted to the ICU at AIIMS because the water was so filthy. The AAP leaders are making excuses, claiming that the Haryana government has mixed poison in the Yamuna river water. The truth is that the Yamuna is not poisoned; rather, it has become toxic due to the pollution spread by AAP. Arvind Kejriwal had promised to double the number of beds in hospitals, but nothing has been done. While Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji's government is providing free healthcare up to ₹5 lakh across the country, Kejriwal has denied Delhi this scheme. However, once the BJP government is formed, BJP will introduce a free healthcare scheme for the people of Delhi, covering up to ₹10 lakh, in addition to the existing ₹5 lakh. The BJP will make Delhi pollution-free and eliminate water tankers within 3 years. While Kejriwal failed to deliver on his promise of a sports university, the BJP will establish one in Delhi.
Shri Shah stated that Kejriwal demolished four bungalows to build his massive 50,000-square-meter ‘Sheesh Mahal,’ spending over ₹51 crores. It includes marble, motorized curtains, automatic doors worth ₹17 lakhs, 16 smart TVs worth ₹64 lakhs, carpets worth ₹50 lakhs, a water purifying system, and recliner sofas worth ₹10 lakhs. Kejriwal had claimed he would not take government facilities like a vehicle, bungalow, and security but eventually accepted all of them. AAP has also been involved in numerous scams: a ₹28,400 crore Delhi Jal Board scam, a ₹5,400 crore ration card scam, a ₹4,500 crore DTC bus scam, a ₹1,300 crore classroom scam, a ₹500 crore panic button scam, a ₹571 crore CCTV scam, the ₹52 crore Sheesh Mahal, and a 65,000 fake test scam.
Shri Shah stated that Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has benefited the Purvanchalis in the Union Budget 2025 with thousands of crores worth of projects and schemes. The middle class has also been taken care of, with income up to ₹12 lakh exempted from income tax. Gig workers' medical needs have been taken care of through the Shram Portal. Kejriwal’s promises have turned out to be false, making AAP a party of deceit and broken commitments. In contrast, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji delivers on his words. Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji had promised to build the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a project halted by Congress for 70 years. After 550 years, on January 22, 2024, PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji performed the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla at his grand temple. Kejriwal had opposed the construction of the Mandir and instead asked for the construction of toilets. However, he failed to build both, while the BJP built the Mandir and 13 crore toilets.
Union Home Minister stated that the BJP has promised that after the formation of its government in Delhi, women will receive ₹2,500 in their bank accounts. Every pregnant woman will get ₹21,000 as financial aid, along with 6 nutrition kits. Each woman will also get an LPG cylinder for ₹500, and one free cylinder during Holi and Diwali. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana, ₹5 lakh will be provided for health coverage, with an additional ₹5 lakh from the Delhi government, totaling ₹10 lakh in free health cover. The pension for senior citizens will be increased from ₹2,000 to ₹2,500 per month, while pensions for widows and destitute women will rise from ₹2,500 to ₹3,000 per month. Additionally, Atal Canteens will be established in JJ clusters, providing nutritious meals for just ₹5. Pucca houses will be built to replace Jhuggis, and full ownership rights will be granted to 1,700 unauthorized colonies. Within six months, the judicial process will be completed to reopen the 13,000 shops sealed due to Kejriwal’s mistakes. Auto and taxi drivers will receive health insurance worth ₹10 lakh and accident insurance worth ₹5 lakh. BJP will grant ownership rights to refugees from Pakistan in its very first cabinet meeting. 50,000 youths will be provided government jobs and 20 lakh employment opportunities will be created. Tourism will be promoted by developing the Mahabharat Circuit in collaboration with the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi.
Shri Shah stated that, under the Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji-led double-engine government, progress has been bolstered, but Arvind Kejriwal has turned Delhi into a garbage dump, which becomes a dirty river during the monsoon. However, if BJP gets the opportunity to govern Delhi, within 5 years, Delhi will be the number 1 capital in the world. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah appealed to the people of Delhi to ensure the victory of the BJP candidates Shri Mohan Singh Bisht & Candidate from Karawal Nagar Shri Kapil Mishra and to form a BJP government in Delhi under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
