Condolence message by former BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh on the demise of Former NDA Minister, Shri Digvijay Singhji

I am deeply saddened by the news of Shri Digvijay Singh’s untimely and unfortunate demise. Shri Singh was a seasoned politician known for his love for poor and weaker sections of the society.  His political acumen was acknowledged by almost all senior leaders cutting across party lines and his performance as Member of Parliament was considered exceptional.  During his tenure as Minister of State for Railways and MoS for External Affairs he left an indelible mark with his hard work and passion to serve the people and the country.

 

His death is an irreparable loss to the socialist stream in Indian politics. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.
