
National Executive Committee of North East India Sampark Cell
Inauguration:
Meeting of First National Executive Committee of Bhartiya Janta Party, North East India Sampark Cell was organised on 1.9.2013 at the party's National Office at 11, Asoka Road, New Delhi.
The executive meet was inaugurated by National Vice President of BJP Sh. S S Ahluwalia while it was completed with the address of Sh. Nalin Kohli, In-charge of of Mizoram state BJP and the same was presided by the cell's National Convener Sh. Sunil Deodhar
In his inaugural address, while addressing the delegates attending the national executive meet from all over the country, Mr. Ahluwalia said that there is a need to bring change in the attitude of the people from rest of India towards the people of North East and this can bring transformation at large. He also said that problems of North-East can be tackled by way of immediately addressing and redressing the same and for which the North East Sampark Cell of BJP has a larger role to play. He also said that he is very happy to see the tremendous works being done by the volunteers and workers of North East India Sampark Cell in various parts of the country. Sh. Ahluwalia ji also said, while addressing the delegates, that the picture of North-East can only be changed by changing first their mind and then converting their changed mind in vote for BJP and this is how the larger interest of the party could be served. "pehle man ko badlo, phir usko mat me badlo", was the slogan given today by Sh. Ahluwaliji for the activists of North East India Sampark Cell and he also presented a detailed road map for the said region narrating the detail strategy for the said region.
Falicitation
‘Karmayogi Award’ awardee Shri Dipok Kumar Borthakur from Assam was felicitated by Sh. S S Ahluwalia in the same session.
Concluding session:
The Executive meet was summed up by Sh. Nalin Kohli, In-charge of of Mizoram state BJP. Sh. Kohli said that regular and continuous communication is essentially required between the people of North East and rest of India so that national integration gets established. He also said that on regular basis there should be cultural exchange programmes and events in order to established cultural and social bond with the region. He also said that the people of North East must carry a wonderful impression for the people of rest of India and for this North East India Sampark Cell is doing its best and lot more is to be done on their part and it is essentially required to build a national networking for the same.
The delegates from all over India presented their blue print for the work done in the last work period and their future road map for the time to come. At the last the vote of thanks was given by Dr Rajendra Singh Chandel who has been recently appointed as the National co-convener of the cell.
