No nation can be built on an empty stomach and no nation can protect its honour with spineless and anti-patriotic policies of the rulers, who eye on vote banks created through dividing the society on religious and parochial lines. Hence the significance of organising youth power under Syama Prasad Mookerjee 's ideological umbrella, who became Calcutta University's youngest vice chancellor at the age of 33 an was a champion of a strong nationalist stream, who became a cabinet minister in the first Indian government under Nehru at the insistence of Mahatma Gandhi, but resigned after two and half years opposing Nehru's appeasement policies towards Pakistan. He died mysteriously in the jail of Shaikh Abdullah in Srinagar on 23rd June 1953, demanding Kashmir's complete merger with the rest of India.

He said that Marxism has become synonymous with intolerance, violence and extra territorial loyalties. Bengal has led the nation in the past through nationalist revolutionary spirit and the same is having a come back in a strong way. We want to accelerate the process and get rid of the nauseating appeasement policies of the left front, which has decayed the spirit of Bengal and the state lost its glory under the alienated rulers breeding terrorism and illegal influx of foreigners, he said.
